Strange but interesting
Where is this taken ? It looks as if the back side of the building is NOT THERE.... This photo has a little bit of a flat look to it. Meaning of Flat look - There is not a full range from Black to white. When a black and White photo does not show the full range, it often looks flat. I can see the Black but not the white. Black and White is MUCH harder to shoot than Color....

Nice shot.....looks like the building is disappearing under the foliage.

Thanks for the comments Bagsfan. I guess this shows my lack of experience with conversion of colour to black and white. I've still a lot to learn on this front and so feedback like yours is invaluable.
It was taken in Portishead, North Somerset, UK, near to where I live and no, the back of the building is NOT there!
