I have a problem
Ok so my Mustang club had a cruise/meet yesterday and my girlfriend was taking some rolling shots of the other cars and when we had enough, i set the camera in the back seat until we got to our next stop. Well, I had a cooler in the back seat also. The cooler tipped over and got the camera wet. It didnt soak it, but got it wet enough to make it shutter constantly until i pulled the battery out. I let it set all night and just a few minutes ago i inserted the battery and just as soon as it made its connection, it started the constant shuttering again. It isnt covered under the flat rate repair cost from Sony. Does anyone know what part of the camera may have been damaged?

water is often a killer. If I were you I would air dry it for a week. If you have a desicant of some type, consider, after some days; putting camera in a tupperware container with the desicant. (btw, you can by cans of desicant at some gun supply stores like Cabelas).
