I need help taking better pics

Okay I will run my problem down here for ya. So last nite it was my friends 21st and we hit the town, I went down with my cam (DSC-W5) and I was a lil out of it but I still took crappy pics, also others were taking pics with my stuff and they took terrible pics too. And I realized, my friend has some like...Fuji dig cam and his cam was taking awesome pics just by turning it on and snapping. I was having to have everyone like sit still for a while so my image wouldnt ge blurry. The whole nite I was messing with my settings and it was fristrating. So basically what I am asking is if someone can school me to some basics that will help me in the future. I dont know if my ISO is too high or low, or if my shutter speed is off set...anything, included below are some of the pics I took last nite, also I will list whatever settings I had on cause i know someone here can help me..

Okay so ignoring the content of the pics from last nite lol, I have a serious problem. I am in the blue Braves hat so I am not TAKING two of the pics but they shouldnt be that blurry, when I take pics of other things I am okay, but whenever I ask someone to take a pic of me or my friends, I always get stuff like pic 4! All my pics were taken on the "P" shooting mode with with flash level low as can be, My ISO was 200, white balance was on auto, aside from that I dont know what else to post. I do need help cause this is frustrating, can anyone here gimme some advice I can try out to take better pics? thank you in advance and cp's to everyone who provdes helpful info..

If you're going act that way, how can you expect anyone to reply. sheesh

Ok here is my critique.
You are using a slow shutter speeds in low lighting and you dont have a very steady hand.
The people are probably moving which makes it blurred as well.
Put the camera in Aperture priority and set it for about F5.6 and see if anyrying comes out different.

You're white balance is off as well.

If you take pics at night outside with lights in the background then you should probably use Tungsten setting for whitebalance.

If you do night shots with no moving subjects you need to use a tripod.
No one has hands that steady to do night shots without one
