Color Streaks appeared out of nowhere (DSC-P200) HELP!

Hello all,
I have a brand new Sony DSC-P200 (bought it 2 months ago) and I've had no problems with it. A couple of days ago as I wsa taking some pictures with low shutter speeds, I've noticed out of nowhere that all the pictures had some weird color streaks. I thought that perhaps it was the shutter speed or smth, but the next day the streaks where there. The streaks are not only on the lcd but in the output file making me think that maybe the sensor or smth decided to die for no obvious reason. (I REALLY TAKE GOOD CARE OF IT)

Check the lens to see if it's clean on the front element. Clean it with a lenspen or a cotton-bud moistened with lens cleaner fluid. If that doesn't do the trick, I suggest you take it in for a checkup/repair. The sensor could be faulty.
