Hard to be sure, but the flash bulb may be burnt out. Most point and shoots and I have seen do not have a flash adjustment so I doubt you messed anything up. I'd try giving sonys customer support a call. They can--hopefully--at least point you in the right direction.

Another Suggestion
It could be the bulb, the adjustment, or the internal capacitor. Maybe the capacitor inside of the camera is not charging properly. Who know's. LOL. I have a few camera's with adjustable flashes that you can use for different settings, and seeing that you have a fairly new camera, Im willing to bet that it is indeed your flash adjustment. I would tinker around with that first.

I'd call SONY and then send the camera to them. DO NOT take it to a camera shop. DO NOT let some half wit open your camera. Once you do that SONY will decline any claim you make as well would any other company.

Jan 6th, 2006 12:42 PM #5jsnapshot GuestYes, i had to use the warranty service for my T1, and it was quite good. Sony partners with UPS, so if you print out the right piece of paper and take it to a fedex store they handle everything including packaging.Originally posted by sw2cam
