t33, pro duo problems

i jus got a t33.
the 32 mb memory stick duo works jus fine but the 256 mb memory stick pro duo doesnt,
it shows format error for some files, and alotta files on the pc are duplicated and some jus dont open.
i hve changed the stick thrice, so im guessing therez some problem with the memory stick 'pro' duo.
i thought the t33 was compatible with pro duo.
please help.
