Bell & Howell 10 mega pixel for $399!

Since when can BEll & Howell come out with the world's smallest 10 megapixel camera?!
I can't make heads or tails about this camera.
Does anyone have a clue what is going on here? Who is the OEM for this camera? Is it really 10 megapixels?

Careful, it uses interpolation to achieve 10.0 mega pixels.
Kind Regards.

B & H 10 mega pixel camera
We saw an ad for the camera and my husband thought it was a good deal. I was looking on the net and you said it uses interpolation. What does that mean? He was thinking it would be good to carry around all the time in case we wanted to take a picture. We're retired and only use it at family gatherings or pictures of birds at out feeders. There are a lot of deer where he plays golf and wanted something small to carry to get their picture.
Any ideas or help would be welcome. We have a Minolta 3.3 mp and a 4 mp but neither is small enough to carry around.
Thanks

Bell and Howell is a company known for making cheap stuff. They are the ones that advertise on TV an electric triple head razor for $4. Don't waste your money. As for the question on interpolation, it may use a 2MP sensor and read the pixels to increase the size to 10MP. Same thing as taking a 2MP camera's image and increase the size in photoshop to that of a 10MP image. Quality will be nothing more than a blown up 2MP picture. Do yourself a favor and buy a decent P/S 5MP camera or something similar. Many models to choose from that are very small.
I'm not resourceful enough to insert a witty quip or intelligent quote here.
