    Sony DSC-W7 vs. Canon SD500

    I'm looking to buy a digital point and shoot camera. I think I've narrowed it down to 2 just released cameras, the Canon sd500 and the Sony dsc-w7. They both seem similar in their specs and are both 7 MP cameras. Does anybody have a suggestion on which to go with.

    go for w7

    w7 is better compared to sd500.

    Why is it better

    Rakesh. Why do you say that the w7 is a better camera. Does it have better picture quality or are they about the same with the w7 being cheaper?
