DSC-P73 and USB 2.0 problem

I can't seem to get this camera to communicate with the PC in USB 2.0 mode. When I try to transfer the JPG files to the PC, the connection between the camera and PC is lost.

If I disable enhanced USB (in hardware USB section), everything works well (in USB 1.1 mode).

I am running WinXPPro SP2. I have other USB 2.0 devices that work flawlessly. Anyone have a clue as to what the problem might be? Is there a firmware upgrade available for this camera?

this might be why i cant see my camera on my pc, where is the usb setting oyur on about mate?

This is a longshot - but since you have other devices working OK - have you checked the USB setting on the camera?

In "Set Up" mode, scroll down to the last item "Setup 2". "USB Connect" should be "Normal". Mine was on "PTP" and I had some strange results.
