I've recently written a Photoshop script that simulates crop tool with Golden Ratio (and Golden Spiral) guidelines. Maybe someone would find it interesting.

Unfortunately this in not a plug-in, but a script. It's using Adobe implementation of the JavaScript engine and Photoshop object model. Maybe Paintshop Pro has something similar, hard to say. The source of this script is open, so if someone would like to port it to different software, go ahead

What's new?:

• New composition method: Diagonal Rule
• User customizable line thickness
• New translation: German
• Faster layers creation
• Lines are more visible on a dark background (white stroke added)
• User-friendly error information is shown when there is no open document
