How can I make a BW picture with a detail in colour? Anyone knows how to do that?

This can be done just like I told you how to blur a photo.
Usually when doing this effect one layer will be color and the other will be B/W.
This tends to take more time since you have to be very selective when selecting your subjects.
OVer all you will finds its done the same.

Why not just use the Arty History brush. It works great and is alot easier than dealing with multiple layers on the image and having to erase. Simply turn your image black and white with however you see fit. Myself I have created an action to turn it black and white, but add a bit of orange brown to the grayscale image to make it pop a bit more.
Once the image is B&W, simply select the "Art History Brush" from your tools, and then go to the History tab and click in the empty check box next to the first field in this tab. The first field being when the original was opened. This then tells your Art History brush to paint whatever the image was displaying at this time. This way you can simply paint the color of the original image back into the photo.
It is alot simpler, and I have had pretty good results.
