I'm looking for something to use on a series of baby girl photos. I'm thinking maybe a thin pink outline would look nice. If you could write this for me this would be much appreciated.
i think i've reached that point...

    Hi,

I'm brand new here today and reading messages just to get an idea of what goes on. It's a great looking site and I look forward to stopping by now and then.

While you wait for Paul to give you an answer about the baby photos, I hope you don't mind some suggestions:

Picking a single color to use as an outline for a number of photos may or may not work, depending on the photos' colors.

Black is one thing because it's completely neutral, a complete lack of color, in other words. Choosing a single pink may be a problem as that pink might look fine with one photo and clash with other colors in another photo, or be the wrong pink if other photos also have pink in them (very likely with baby photos).

Why not open your photos in a paint program, Photoshop, Painter, PaintShop Pro, PhotoPaint, whatever you have, then pick colors from the photos and test them to see what works best?

You could do a thin border on a Layer that could be copied to each Photo so the process would not take so long.

    Just a thought.

    Happy 4th of July!

    In Photoshop

1 select your color, make sure it is set in the foreground.
    2 Select your total picture.
    3 edit> strokes
4 I usually use 9pix, but you can type in whatever number you like. Click okay.....
    You are good to go......
