Thoughts on xpphoto.com?
Hey all --
I just purchased my first digital camera and am now looking for a great place to get my beautiful images turned into prints. I am a poor student and don't want to spend exorbitant amounts on the prints, but I also don't want to feel like I could have printed them out on my deskjet for the same quality!! After doing a little web-hunting, I found the site xpphoto.com that seems to have the cheapest price (17 cents for a 4x6, matte or glossy) and has excellent customer reviews -- problem is that ALL the reviews I can find are on their website!!! Has anyone ever used xpphoto and what was the service like, quality of prints? I don't really care about storage capabilities or editing options, since I do that all on my own software, I just want to be able to upload my photos (lots and lots and lots of them!) and get good quality prints in return. Any thoughts or suggestions are more than welcome!!

I have never used them. I have used Shutterfly & ToGo Photo though quite frequently and have had fantatic luck with both places! Shutterfly is great for getting larger prints from smaller MP/lower quality images... ToGo makes great prints but images need to be of higher MP for the larger prints (like most places). Shutterfly uses Fuji Crystal Archival Paper( probably one of the best)for their prints.. ToGo uses Agfa Prestige Archival Paper for theirs (a bit thicker then Fuji).
