    Unhappy Exif Info Lost ???

    Hi,
I am starting to notice that any jpg files I place onto a CD seem to lose the Exif info once I copy it back to my hard drive again.
Does anyone else have this problem.
I have copied all my photos to CD so I dont have to worry about hard drive crashes. But looks like I lost info on image instead.
    Thanks,
    Ruth

    Hi Ruth
I've just checked my backup CD and all seems the same once it's back onto the hard drive. I'm using windows XP and I checked the image by right clicking it in windows explorer, have you tried that way?
    Regards
    Mike

    exif lost reply :)

    Mike,
Thanks for checking. I didnt try that actually.
I just thought it was lost since when I uploaded the file to byte POTW no exif info shows up.
I did all my post processing and only saved the file once. Will try again later tonight.
