2nd annual Florida bird shoot.

Last years Florida bird shoot was a HUGE success... it attracted photogs from as far away as California, Texas, New jersey, New York, Arizona... and more... And it looks like we are going to have 100% return participation for this years Florida bird shoot :-)

If anyone is interested in joining the shoot please let me know ASAP.

It will be Jan. 27,28,29, and 30... Some photogs can not make the 27th because it is on a Thursday... But that day is more of a workshop day anyway.... Workshop meaning camera and flash setting to shoot BIF and Florida birds in general.... There will also be plenty of wild alligators to photograph at the birding locations.

The cost of the shoot is FREE.... But you are responsible for your travel, hotel, and food expenses.... Many photogs stay at the same hotel and share rooms and rental cars to cut down on those cost.....From the time you get up until the time you go to bed, most all photographers stick together anyway and after the long day of shooting they/we end up eating dinner together anyway. Last year most stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott for around 90 bucks a night and some shared the expense with another photog to make it more affordable.
