This "looks like" it turned out to be a fake.... It looks like Uncle Earl was the photographer that took the shots.

Dang.... I was really hoping it to be true!!

Looks like from the link you gave, they still want to verify who the negatives belonged to.
Will be interesting to find how close Uncle Earl's pictures are to an Ansel Adams original

My money is on Ucle Earl... There are other things... Like emails from AA's personal assistant that says that he was with AA for over thiry years... and photo's of this caliber would have been printed and published... He goes on to say that the photos were taken by a very compitent photographer.. But states they were not the images of the late great AA.

It is funny that the "art" is really lost in the point... AA's own assistant states how wonderful they are... and that if AA took them he would have printed it and published it... But the fact that (it looks like) they were not taken by the late great AA... they are almost worthless?

So in the end.... It is NOT the art/photography that is great.... It is the photographer.... Pretty interesting!

I think they should be worth something even if they are 'Uncle Earl's" look at all the artists that didn't really become famous until after they passed.
