Got a few of the turbines, but the composition and lighting on some is a bit suspect.
Its on my way home, so hoping for some good snow for some interesting shots from the same location.

Just going past last night, and they were doing some maintainence on one of them, so got a few photos
It was getting towards twilight, so the light was not that good, but tried to fix it a bit in photoshop, results are fairly good.

Sorry about the file size, but the pictures artifacted really badly, so had to use minimum compression on the jpeg.Last edited by santobugito; Oct 31st, 2003 at 02:48 AM.

It seems this turbines will look better with more light. am trying to imagine the green on the grass more saturated and either a blue sky or a dramatic clouds backgroud. If the latter, perhaps A thighter crop on the head and B&W.

I agree, but its a problem that I only pass at certain times of day, and am at the mercy of the lighting conditions. Also there where some dark clouds gathering at the time.
I probably coud have used spot metering to use the level of turbine to set up the camera for the pictures.
It needed a lot of work to get the contrast and brightness up to this level while keeping the noise down in the image.
I put it up really as its a view you don`t see that often, and thought it was lucky I had captured it.
I will give this a bit of work today and see if I can post up a better version of the image.

I have put a modified version up now, with the colours a bit brighter.
