Public apology
I would like to apologize for me recent participation on the site..... I honestly appreciate the feedback and the comments of my photography, but I have not allowed myself time to reciprocate the honor... This is a personal issue that I am working hard to correct... With the economy being what it is, we (my wife and I) are doing the work of many and it cuts into my time.
But...because I do value your feedback on my work, I feel guilty to not be more supportive of yours!
I promise to make more of an effort in the future.
Humbled,
Joe

Hey, you gotta do what you gotta do to get by. Don't worry about it.

I'm with Rick, sometimes there are more important things that need to be done
Don't think anyone would be upset knowing you are working hard.
There was this other website I was on back in 2004/2005, whenever someone would miss even a day making comments, they always felt they had to apologize to everyone and promise to catch up on commenting on all their friends. If you had 40 friends on your list, and each posted one picture a day, which they did, it got to the point that everyone felt they had to comment on 40 pictures a day lol.
After a while, I bet at least 50% of the users were constantly apologizing for missing a day. T
Joe, as long as you are still alive and kicking, we are fine with you being busy with other things from time to time.

I hear you Joe. I have so little time for Byte right now which is why I don't post much any more because I too feel guilty about posting and not commenting. I still keep an eye on things though and pass comments on a few items here and there where I can.
Byte is also returning to it's former glory of 'awesome site' which is really nice to see as well.Suzan...

I echo Suzan's comments. I have more time on the weekend and try to comment on as many as I can then. But when the work week comes, I find very little free time to post as many comments as I would like. So I try to comment on one or two each time I'm on the site.
I'm glad to see Byte come back to life once again!

Joe, I am sure everyone understands, and certainly no-one at Byte will fault you for this.
I for one have been out of action for months for similar reasons, but do check in to see what is being posted. Byte is certainly returning to former glory, with some quality photography and a great community.

Joe,
There is no need to apologize, even though it is very nice of you to want to do so. You have always been an avid participator in the past. No one faults you for not being able to participate as much now. Your family comes first, of course.
Sam has struggled with this too. He feels bad because he doesn't have the time to comment as much with his work schedule. I know that he too, values the comments of others. I feel that all each of us can do is comment as much as we can. Life does not stop for anything, including Byte.
I have enjoyed the images you have been posting lately. They are about very important things like sharing and giving to others. That is a wonderful way to contribute to this site. Good luck, Joe. I will keep you in my prayers.

No worries Joe. I echo the feelings of everyone here. I know I always look forward to your comments but I understand your time constraints. Family always comes first.
Cheers,
