    Thumbs up

    That is exceptionally kind of you. Also, I have heard many times that Portugal is an excellent place to visit. Thank you.

    Ol’*‚„’‚‚

    Thanks for your invitation.

    I was born in Faro - Algarve, and my family is living there, I'll be happy if when I'm there in hollidays and you are near by, we go to drink one "bica".

    I wanted to post a comment on your photo "DETAIL of Portugues house" ,but I got a message saying that "You don't have permission to post comments/critiques for
    images in this category" so I'll give it here if you don't mind and you can then quote me on the comments for this photo if you want.

    Great photo
    My opinion over this photo:
    - sometimes less is more;
    - the diagonal of the roof makes the observer to ask imself what is before and after;
    - the colour are wonderfull and represent the typicall house from the south of Portugal (Algarve/Alentejo), transmitting peace and joy having the almost always present
    strong blue sky;
    - the detail of the roof with the typical "telha de canudo" if I see well, used to build the roof on the old houses and interior villages;

    Congratulations for your win on the POTW, with a great photo, and one that represents the place where I come from.

    Fernando

    I'm not likely to visit Portugal, but what a wonderful and friendly offer.
