just saying hello to everybody

hi everybody im new here,and want to say hello to everybody.Im a newbie to photography but has always been a love of mine.I've recently purchased a canon eos elan 7.Ive always loved the manual aspect of photography so im learning my f-stop and apetures as a go along.I also have a nikon coolpix that ive been messin around with. any feedback and constructive critisism would be exellent,thank you p.s. if you guys could check out my gallery and give a newbie a couple comments that would be greatly appreciated

I remember when you first joined. You were participating in the critics corner. Haven't seen anything from you in a while. Come join us in the contest section. that seems to be where the most action is if you want feedback on your shots.

yes that is correct,i was really getting into and was judging the edit challenge...but nobody replied to my pick(wich was kevin byt the way) and the days just went bye,but thank you so much for the warm welcome,my nikon 12mp coolpix has broken recently beyond repair so im forced to use my 35mm or my little kodak 5 mp...but it hasent stop me from using it none the less,i posted some firework shots recently frm the las vegas country club, and i went to longview washington,took some cool pics at the japenese botanical garden,and mtst.helens ill try to post some of thoses as soon as i get a chance....but once again thank you for the warm hospatality
