    Kodak Times Square

I just got an email from Kodak saying an image of mine has been chosen to appear in Times Square on March 30!

Wow! It's "Rocky's Nose" and it never even made the final six in here....but who cares! Rocky (or at least is his nose) will be famous all day long on March 30.

Kevin, I presume I submitted it to their site although I rarely go there...I mean maybe twice a year. But, I guess I submitted this. Probably because it has a kind of "kodak moment" about it. One also has to submit a few descriptive words with the image...which I don't recall either! I honestly probably didn't think anythingn would happen with it and simply dismissed it from my mind.

It will be the Kodak site POTD on March 30 and will appear on their bb in Times Square every few minutes on that same day. No prizes, no free trips...but an honor and I am thrilled.

I have to get Steve to photograph it for me

Actually, Pippa, it's Rocky who gets the fame

His family, particularly the kids, are thrilled...Rocky is trying to act nonchalant about it all while my dogs are ticked off it's not either of their noses

Congrats, Sheila! Cool stuff. That weekend's looking pretty busy for me (company from out of town - but they used to be locals, so they won't be pressed on Times Square), but please shoot me a reminder pm closer to the date, and I'll try to swing by to capture a shot.

This is going to be just one day, Steve. March 30.
    And I will remind you.

It may be that the photograph will have me in it... I'm seriously thinking of coming out to see this myself.
