    Pam,

My husband recently upgraded to Photoshop CS3 "Extended". Is that what you are wondering about?

Perhaps it has something to do with the zoom length of a lens?

It is an image sensor for digital cameras. I don't really understand the whole concept. Thanks for trying help.

The X3 sensor was put together by Foveon basicly the sensor insead of having 2 green pixels one red and one blue. patterns as on ccd cmos sensors. The Foveon X3 has all three colors per pixel. An article that may help http://www.alt-vision.com/foveon_more.htm

Also tests Preformed Sigma sd14 and the nikon D80 http://www.popphoto.com/howto/4276/f...-the-test.html

Thanks TC I have read, or shall I say, tried to read several articles about X3, but I don't think I understood three words. It is quite complex. I am going to keep reading though. If I can understand Plato I should be able to understand X3. HAHA!
