    I am a new member...

    Hi, I am Marie. I have been a member for a week maybe but I thought that I should let you know a few things about my self. I have only been taking pictures for 5 months. I joined this site to learn form others. And to enjoy every one else's work.

    Welcome, Marie! I'll echo what Joe has said. Don't be afraid to jump in with both feet - we're pretty nice Feel free to enter 2 shots a week into the photo contest - that's the best way to meet people and get some constructive feedback on your shots. And don't be afraid to comment/critique other shots as well. That's the best way to get your shots noticed, and a great way to learn by detailing what you like or don't like about another picture.
