Wildlife in North Carolina Photo Contest 2007

WOO HOO!!! I made it with the "Greetings Earthlings" Mantis photo, to 1st place in the Invertebrates category. It will be published in the upcoming January 2008 issue of their magazine as well as be on display at the NC Museum of Natural Science in Raleigh, NC, January-March 2008. You can bet we will be making a weekend trip to Raleigh for that event.

I had all but given up on hearing anything........ What a surprise! Maybe I should have put the little guy on payroll.

Congratulations Ellen!!!! That is some accomplishment. I did not see that photo in your gallery unless it is under another name. Can you post it?

Thanks again for allowing me to share this exciting news. Next year I may give this little guy a shot with the National Wildlife contest. He missed the deadline this year.
