Editors Corner WK 11-19-07
To those who posted edits to Butterscotch River, I will choose the edit I thought captured the essence of the scene on Sunday.
Thanks to all those who joined in this week. Hope more jump in as we go along.
Check back tomorrow to see who will post the next challenge.
Cheers,
kevin

OK, folks here is my choice for the Butterscotch Falls edit. I do have to admit this was a difficult scene. One of the reasons I never posted it. The saturation was off, it was a pretty busy scene too. Everyone identified the problems right off and did a fine job with your edits. I did appreciate the B&W edits and thought they were very good. however because of the title, I felt it needed to stay in color. One thing I was surprised at, was nobody tried a tight crop on just the falls.
That said, I like how Steve's version dealt with the overall saturation yet kept the intensity of the water color. The color of the rest of the scene also had an interesting look that liked.
So Steve, it is your turn to submit the edit for week 11-25-07.
Thanks again for playing along. I may now have to revisit this shot and put all your suggestions into sction.
Cheers,
Kevin
PS, I suggest we all delete our shots "except Steve" so the critique section doesn't get too filled up.

Thanks, Kevin! I'll leave this up for a bit, and get a new unedited shot up soon.
This is a fun challenge.
