    Photographer and Assistant Out Takes

Some of you have asked how I made the shot I posted this week. It took many tries, and I really didn't post the shot I had envisioned, thanks to my dog. I thought about posting some of the "out takes" in the contest next week. But as the link below shows, it would not technically be eligible. As I have read recently, some feel that the contest is just that, and I didn't want to lessen the importance of it by posting a shot just for fun.

All of the shots are pretty much right out of the camera, with just cloning out some sensor spots and slight sharpening. I can't explain the difference in tone, except that they were taken at slightly different times, exposures, and auto white balance. Please click on the link below!

Great great great......and thanks for sharing Sam!!

As for the contest...... As I see it.....It is whatever YOU want it to be to YOU!!! At the end of the week if you do not make the top six.....or the popular vote. And that is important to you, then It's time to re-evlauate why your here (I had to)......I am here for learning, teaching and pleasure!!!

    Cheers, Joe

P.S. Say hi to Cindy and let her know that some of us miss her.
