    New England Leaf Color Report

    I'm traveling in western Massachusetts in the Amherst area and the colors are just starting to turn in the maple trees. The other trees are showing hints of the change but are not really showing good color.

    WOW I knew the color was starting really early this year. I've noticed changes here in Bucks County PA already.
    We are travelling to the New England area in Oct 12th - Oct 21st
    We are also going to Cape Cod.
    Do you think we will miss the color?

    Hi Ruth,

    By Oct 12th I think the colors may be at peak or just a little beyond peak where you're going. As I said, the Maples were just starting and you can see a hint in some of the weed trees but everything else was green.

    My kids live in western Mass. so I can get an up to date report for you (if you remind me) before you leave.

    I've never really been to the new England area. Well went to Boston once on a business trip but that doesn't count
    I'm hoping that PA still has color when we get back. I have a couple place in PA that I'm commissioned to get Autumn pictures
