    Antique Fire Truck with the D100

    This is a picture of our volunteer fire company's antique LaFrance 1928 fire truck on display beside our new 2003 LaFrance fire truck at the convention of the NJ firemen's Association in Wildwood NJ. This picture was taken with the D100 at ISO 400 f8 1/250sec and 28 mm.

    Nice trucks,
    But, I would have focused the composition on a single truck and saturated a bit in photoshop to restore the original color.

    Hi Ramoul,
    Great point, however I took this for our volunteer fire company. Both trucks belong to us. This was to show the comparison of a 1928 model and a new 2003 model. At least that is what I had in mind. The other factor was that it was starting to rain, and I didn't want my brand new D100 in the rain. I had just gotten the camera a couple days before, and a lot of things were new to me. Now that I am familiar, I will have to start working on my composition. Thank you for sharing your comments with me.
