"E" and "D" lenses
Hey, I was wondering what the difference between "E" and "D" lenses was. Can I use a lens that is not a D lens on my nikon D50? I've heard that certain functions won't work. Thanks, Matt

Matt, here's a link to a Nikon 'translation' site.

I think you have to have at least the 'D' series for the D50. My understanding (and I own a D50 too) is that any of the AF lenses Nikon makes are compatible with the D50. I think the 'E' is manual so that would rule it out.
Hope that helps a bit.Suzan...
