The first one would be better if you could rotate it a bit so the horizon is horizontal. Both are nice shots.

They are nice pictures, but the first one needs to be rotated to level the horizon, and it would be better at a width of 640 pixels. Most people do not have wide monitors, and when the picture is too wide they tend to ignore it.

Pictures and other forums
For the Pictures, they are good for a beginner. I really like the colors of the first picture. Like many the composition is one of the first things a photographer should work on..... I am very excited to see you grow as a photographer, so stay here with us at BytePhoto..... You asked about other Photo Forums... Sure there are others out there BUT..... Once you found the BEST, Why look for others
AND NO, I did NOT get paid from Paul to say that

Funbags welcome to BytePhoto for me the first as already has been mentioned here the horizon is simply skewed to greatly and it also is imo to centered in the photo ’‚’‚…‚’‚‚¦. That said it may be worth the effort to rotate and crop the image and then possibly work on the color hue and saturation to add a livelier feel to the photo
With number 2 I like just about everything accept the lights in the lower right hand corner which if you choose to should be easy enough to removeBest Regards,
Steve
