Dropping out background
Please help me find a good way to drop the background out of a picture to make it appear like it is floating.
What I have done in the past is use jasc software and when I take a picture I use a white background and take the picture. I upload the picture and draw around the edges of the unit and after enlarging the picture I paint the pixels out side of theimage white.
This is very time consuming for each picture as I take pictures of large items( Mobility Scooters) and have about 20 pictures of each item to edit.
Is there a program that may be better?
Is there a color backdrop that can be used that is better than white? Because the white shows up as a grey backgound maybe due to the lighting or something. In some pictures taking processes I see that they use a green background so the camera drops out the background, any thoughts on this.
The pictures that I have done are at www.maxmobilityscooter.com
All help will be appreciated.
