Cheaper batteries for my Canon G3?
I'm very sorry if this was posted already. I need more batteries for my G3. The shops around my home sell them for around $60 but I see them on ebay for $10.
Has anyone purchased one of these "cheaper" batteries and how well did they work.
I've always been a big believer of "You get what you pay for" but if I can save $50 on the same product then I will.

Hi
I bought 2 batteries for my s400 from www.sterlingtek.com. Price was great but shipping to Canada was about 10 days. i would imagine they would have something for your camera.

OK I just bought 2 batteries for a grand total of $18.95 + S/H. I still can't understand the $50 difference from the retail price. Oh well... I hope they work.

Thanks... I posted this in a Canon forum also and not 30 minutes after buying them someone posted this:
try sterlingtek
http://www.sterlingtek.com/ln03-cano...11-dlc511.html
CANON BP511 EQUIVALENT BATTERY
WITH 18% MORE POWER
1300 mAH
$11.99
I've bought batteries and chargers from them. Very prompt delivery.
The ones I bought were only 1100 mAH. I'm sure with two I'll be fine but I wonder if that extra juice really makes a difference.
I will be sure to follow up on this... The guy at the battery store laughed at me when I told him the price of the ebay batteries.
