    camera choice

    hey. i am getting very into photography and would like to get a new camera. i have done a lot of research and have narrowed it down to just a few cameras. any imput or opinions or anything at all will be helpful. if you feel there is a better camera than one of the ones listed please suggest it. thanks

    sorry, just to specify im on about a $500 budget and would like a versitile camera with a crisp image. i like taking nature shots as well as shots in and around the city.

    Hi surfer dude and Welcome to byte! You can check this website for your reference.

    In my opinion for non-SLR camera the good pick is Canon S3-IS and for SLR either Canon EOS 350D or Nikon D50.

    Just from what I have read, the Olympus E300 isn't the best but it's big brother the Olympus E-500 might be worth looking at...

    Hey dude,
    if u going into photography,then i think u shud get urself a gud sony camera.
    there are some really nice ones out there.

    Canon EOS 300D
    I am an owner of that camera and I am pleased with it.
