String monopod?
Hi,
I've heard that you could replace a tripod with a string fixed between the camera and your foot, and achieve 1/4 s shot?
As anyone tried that?
Regards,
Ramoul
PS: may be a new forum dedicated to photo tips would be nice to post comments like this one...

You attach a piece of string to a 1/4 bolt which you screw into the tripod hole on the camera. The other end of the string has a loop which you put you foot through. The string is pulled taught to take the shot. 1/4 sec? I dunno about that. 1/15 with a standard lens maybe. A monopod would be a much better option.
