flickering while viewing web page
Just curious if anyone has noticed flickering while viewing this website. At first I thought there was a problem with my laptop, but then I noticed it only happened while viewing this site while scrolling down a page.

I've tried visiting other webpages and it only seems to happen here on the photo contest page. I may be spending too much time here.............................................. .. Guess I'll just deal with the flickering!

I have had the EXACT same problem! But it seems to be on all pages of this website, but the the front page. And this is the only one that does it.
But I don't know why...good to know I'm not the only one.

I'm glad I asked. Maybe this is something the administrators can look into and correct. Good to know I'm not the only one. I honestly thought it was my laptop. Thanks for replying!

Ellen,
My 19 inch LCD doesn't flicker on this page or any other. Don't know what might be causing a flicker on your notebook. Have you tried looking at Byte from another monitor? You might try looking at the refresh rate your LCD is set too although if one page flickers then all webpages should do the same.

Hi Ellen
Mine does the same but it doesn't happen on the kids computer. I think it has something to do with the scrolling advert near the top of the page taking about the photo contest rules update. If I scroll down enough so it's out of view it doesn't happen. This only started happening when that appeared.

That sounds the way it's happening with me. No, it doesn't happen on my desktop computer, only the laptop. It must have something to do with the scrolling message, because it just started happening recently and only on that page. Thanks for commenting.
