    Epson Class Action Law Suit

I got a letter in mail over the weekend informing me that was part of a class action lawsuit against Epson.

My kids gave me an Epson "Picturemate" printer for Christmas, and it seems Epson was trying to put some extra money in their pockets.

The software that operates the printer detects when the ink cartridge is getting low and stops the printing process when it thinks it's out of ink. Well, according to this class action suit, there's still plenty of ink left when it says you need to replace the cartridge.

Epson has settled this out of court, and there are a couple of options for those included in the settlement.

One of the choices is a $45 credit at the on-line Epson store.

Keep an eye on your mail box if you have an Epson printer. The notice I received looked like junk mail to me and almost got thrown out before I opened it.
Everybodies got to stand for something, I stand to pee.

I got 2 of them in the mail on Saturday as well.
1 for my Epson 1280 and one for my Epson Pro 4000

The 4000 cartridges are more than $45 a piece for the 8 different colors

Only problem is, I dont pay the big bucks for epson ink.
We buy a compatible at less than half the cost
for the 1280 it cost us about $6-8 a cartridge.
Forget how much for the 4000, I'll have to check
