Hi, not sure if this would be the right forum for this question but...

I'm looking to get a new camera.
price range around ’…’‚‚£100
at least 5Mp
uses SD cards

a good battery life would be nice (enough time to fill up a 512Mb SD card)

can anyone recommend me a good camera (for the price)

The reason I'm looking is that my camera has decided to stop working after 2 months, so this time I'm looking for one that will last a bit longer!!

Off hand, I can't recommend a camera for you I'd suggest you go to a site called Steve's Digicam, they have reviews and specifications on tons of cameras and it's broken down into categories thart are easy to understand.

As far as batteries are concerned, I'd suggest you look for a camera that simply takes AA's -buy yourself a couples of sets of rechargable ones and always have a spare set, fully charged on hand. How many images a battery will last for depends on a lot of factors.
