    Smile New Nikon D50! Help!

    Hey all,
I just made a new purchase! The Nikon D50, however, It comes with PictureProject and I am having a time trying to resize the photos to put on Byte. Do I have to do this in the camera or how do I do it through the PictureProject? Please help. Also any help in creating the perfect pictures using this type of Camera would be a big help. I also bought an extra lens, 70-300mm. Just love it! Thanks,
    Melissa

    Hi Melissa,

I don't know anything about PictureProject but as a rule, shoot the highest quality you can on the camera and save the original. Always work from a copy.

There should be a way to resize the image--try help if you can't figure it out. For Byte you want an 8x10 at 80 pixels per inch.

    I hope this helps.

    Hello Melissa,

I'm using a Nikon D50 for a few months now. I never resize photographs on the camera itself. I prefer to upload originals to my hard disk and make new maps for resized pictures. I'm using Paintshop Pro for resizing. Next to that I have Adobe Photoshop... a bit more difficult in use, but wonderful software. So, try to get one of those prgrammes
