HELP! Teleconverters
I'm considering buying a 2X teleconverter for my Minolta AF lenses. My longest right now is only a 70 - 210 zoom and I want a little more punch. Can anyone give the good, the bad, and the uglies about shooting with a teleconverter??

For what it's worth:
My experience with non-name brand 2x teleconverters is double the magnification, half the light on the sensor and half the quality.

Thanks Frank...thats what I was afraid of. I see lots of them on ebay that are in my budget range (Quantry and Bower??) but I don't really want one bad enough to sacrifice image quality. again, Thanks for the advice.
