EXIF info
I notice that some of the photos have EXIF info. It looks like a form used when uploading but i can't seem to find where to enter the info except in the description box.
Thanks, Kevin
Kevin

The gallery will pull it from your photo automatically...if it Ύs available in your image file ...

If you use the Save for Web feature of Photoshop Elements it loses the EXIF info from the image saved. However, if you use 'Save As' then the image is retained. With the large file sizes of the D50 I find the save for web feature more efficient for posting purposes. (I don't have to clean up my gallery as often.

You can still see that info on your original shot by going through an Explore window to find it, right-clicking on the image, and choosing Properties. In Windows 2000 you have to go to the Summary tab and then click on Advanced if it's not already open. In XP, there is a 2nd tab (I think it's called details - I'm not on an XP machine right now) and again, if summary is open, just click on advanced. Nearly all the EXIF info is there. (Only think it doesn't seem to pick up from my D50 is ISO.)
I have setup a template in a .txt document and just plug the figures found into properties and paste it into my description when I post to byte. Hope that helps. I know it's come up a few times in the POTW contest.
Here is my template that you're welcome to copy/paste into your own system and modify for your own.

Thanks for the help. I was saving for the web. I'll start using save as. I uploaded a new photo in my gallery to test it. Worked just fine.
Thanks again, KevinKevin
