    Thanx for the link, cool pics.

    I won't post my favorite, just the one that got me thinking about pointing camera directly at the Sun.



    This one is possibly harmless, but what is the usuall time of the day (with part of the year) when it's too dangerous for your CCD to point directly at the Sun.?

    Personally I would only point my camera at the sun at sun rise or set and never with a long lens. This is not because of damage to equipment but because damage to my eyesight. I do realize that LCD screens on digi cameras mean that you don't need to use a viewfinder, but I use film slr's.
