    it is active, there just aren't that many posts. There are a lot of people who post their pictures and a lot of people willing to critique them. This is an invaluable resource for a beginner or expericaned photographer

    Welcome. The Forums aren't too active, I don't think. The contest is reasonably active but it's pretty much the same people who enter and pretty much the same people who seem to win for the most part.

    But do post here - very nice group of people.
