Critiquing/Rating questions...

Hi Everyone,

I am fairly new to this site and still learning all of the proper etiquette, so I just had a few questions about where I should post my photos so that they receive constructive critiques...

So far, I have uploaded a few photos to the "Photo Critiques" gallery, and although I've had a few people view the photos, no one has actually critiqued and/or rated any of them.

I have not had a great deal of time to devote to the site, so I have only had a chance to critique about 15 photos thus far. Do I need to reach a certain minimum posting level before my photos can be critiqued?

Also, where do I find the POTW entries? Are they in a specific forum or in a gallery?

Just wondering if someone can give me some advice.

Best place to get some good feedback here is to post your photos in the POTW contest. The critique sections are quite new and have yet to take off. It doesn't matter how many photos you've critiqued yourself. It's also good to hear you are giving feedback to others as well.

Thanks Matt. How do I post photos in the POTW contest. Do I simply upload them to the "Photo Contest" category, or is there a specific location?

Yep thats it, just upload them into the Photo contest category. You can move pictures from your gallery to the contest but they must have been uploaded in the same week as the contest or they will be disqualified. In other words if you want to enter some of your existing gallery you'll probably have to reupload them.
