Usually when I try and take pictures of birds like geese and such they're actively trying to keep their distance from me, not heading towards me. Were you standing very still or something?

I noticed that you've used the title "Curious Swans", but the swans only take up a very tiny portion of the shot. It seems to me that if the swans are what the shot is about, you shoud have made them more prominent.

Thanks for the feedback. Perhaps it wasn't the best choice of title.

Also, I happened to walking away at the time, and so maybe they didn't feel threatened. I just turned around, took the shot, and carried out, so I don't think they ever felt inclined to go away.
