jewelry photography studio wall color
Hello,
I am a jewelry photographer, and before I arrived at my current position my boss had painted the walls and ceiling of the studio black. This makes it extremely difficult to photograph reflective items, since they reflect the black and look terrible. I have been searching the internet to find out the optimum wall color for a studio, but have been unable to find anything. I am thinking that white may be better for reflections and just generally to bounce the light around the room better. Please post any opinions, experiences, ANYTHING! Thanks in advance.
Cheers,
Autumn

I would suggest getting one of those portable light tents that you put the object in and take the pic. A google search would lead you to one.
MikeI'm not resourceful enough to insert a witty quip or intelligent quote here.
