    Question Low Light Action Shots

    Dear Forum,

My name is Bryan and I am new to digital photography. I'm using a Kodak DX7590.

I do camera work for local monster truck shows. The camera works great during the day, but at night, no matter what I do settings wise, I can't get the pictures to stay clear.

The arena's are poorly lit. I try adjusting the shutter speed, and that helps a little bit. Is there practically no hope in these low light arenas, or is there something I can do to make the camera focus on the moving object?

Here is an example of one of my low-light arena shots:

    Hi,

Looks like they could be some great scenes for some photos

Here I suggest ajusting again your shutter speed to a higher setting and also the ISO if you can.

In the example shots it looks like there is a camera shake problem, so you could maybe also try resting the camera on some thing steady, or if you have one, use a tripod.

    Hope this helps

The one below is not too bad as it is. Even though the photo is blurry it does depict movement and action....

    Kind Regards.
