Photo Size?

Hey all,

Im brand new to the Forums/Site and want to put some pictures in a gallery but what size should I make the photos that I want to upload?

I use a Canon G2 and typically use the highest resolution settings to take the pictures

Typically a file size of 250kb and resolution of 72dpi for the full size image .. will produce great results in the main gallery ..most photo editing apps will have some type of save for web or export for web use function

’‚’‚…‚’‚‚¦when you up load to the main gallery it will automatically create an intermediate size and thumbnail ’‚’‚…‚’‚‚¦

When displaying a photo in the forums the preferred method would be to select the intermediate size and follow the directions in this post

If you let me know what software you are using I’‚’‚…‚’‚…¾‚ll try to be more specific ’‚’‚…‚’‚‚¦.

I use a G3 btw and many of my photos in my gallery are only around 100 to 150 kb here is a sample of one at only 105kb http://www.bytephoto.com/photopost/s...sort=1&cat=500
