Some of my shots
I'm pretty damn new to photography and i'm still learning the technicalities of taking pictures as far as camera settings go but I think some of my shots have turned out pretty good.
Here are some of what I think are the best ones i've taken so far. Comments good or bad are welcome i'm just a noob.
Black and whites
The pictures have been resized by half.

Part of my cell it was dysfunctional so I fixed it.

LiveSTRONG!!

Working with my dad one day on a job I was playing with some nails and wire making little things and thought they would be fun to take pics of.

I'll post some of my colored photos soon.

The color shot of the lizard (the first one) I think has the front part of the stone obscured. Its difficult but if it is possible to bring the front in focus too would make the picture more interesting. The others are nice. Won't you like to post them and join the weekly contest? Or maybe have them critiqued in the available galleries?

The first lizard is on a telephone pole laying on the ground I was at the very end of the pole looking down towards him.Originally posted by padlex

I haven't figured out how the contest thing works yet.. I'm not sure if they say take a pic of this and then post your best pics of it, and thats what it consist of or its just post your best pic of anything and thats how it works.

So thats why the end of the pole is blurred.
Anyway, what we do in bytephoto on the weekly contest is to post up to 2 of our best pictures each week. The members have a chance to view them and if they like, they can comment on your photo and give some scores. We learn from their comments and gather points. I think the one with the most post and points are considered the weekly winner.
