Hello friends,
I am kumar from South Carolina, USA. Newly joined to this forum and was wondering if you guys can help me in selecting a nice digital camera for personal use.

Btw, what are your opinions about Nikon coolpix 4800?

I am also interested in photography, want to pursue my interest in this field, can some suggest me where can I start my journey into this field.

I have been using a Coolpix 4500 for about 2 years and I really like it, but I've never used (or even seen) a 4800.

It is hard for someone to pick a camera for someone else. How do you want to use a camera? What type(s) of pictures are you most interested in taking? Do you want a "point and shoot" or something that gives you more control? Yhere are so many questions that only you can answer for yourself.

I got a tremendous feel for what I wanted by reading a few "review" sites for a couple of months. I like dpreview.com and steves-digicams.com, but there are plenty of others, too.
