Nice shot indeed but be careful of your horizon line, just in the middle in your shot!!!

Riri23 you are correct of course about the horizon’‚’‚…‚’‚‚¦’‚’‚…‚’‚‚¦ I was trying to use the dock and foreground to minimize its dominance ’‚’‚…‚’‚‚¦ I’‚’‚…‚’‚…¾‚m really not sure what else I could have done and still been able to capture as much of both the cloud structure and the reflective feel of the water that I wanted

I would not worry at all about the horizon. The "rule of thirds" or whatever you want to call it, to me is just more of a guide and not set in stone. There are times when having your horizon in the middle works quite well.

Sometimes we have a habit of knowing a "rule" and focusing on it above all else. In this case I think the rule was meant to be broken
